Our
immune system prevents viruses, bacteria and parasites to enter our
body. If our immune system is weak these diseases causing bacteria
and viruses easily enter into our body.
How
does it work?
The
immune system encourages to produce cells that assist to kill
disease-causing microorganism. Some cells do a specific task to kill
a certain type of bacteria or virus. The immune system sends an alert
signal to the body. The immune system takes action against the
foreign body. Due to the war against the virus, our body becomes warm
in fever.

of Immune System
The
immune system is composed of various elements like antibodies, white

How
to Boost Immunity?
Healthy
Food
The
food we take is the great immunity booster of our body.
Green
vegetables and fruits are a great source of anti-oxidants. It's also
laced with vitamin C and beta carotene, which may increase the
infection-fighting ability of our immune systems. Protein is a must
for immunity building. We should take eggs, milk curd and other
protein-rich product to increase immunity. Breastfeeding provides a
lot of immunity to a young baby.
Vaccination
Weak
or killed viruses are introduced in the body by vaccination. The
immune system gets trained to take action against the virus in the
future. Chicenpo, hepatitis polio vaccine rotavirus are some very
common vaccination for kids.
Do
not always rely on antibiotics
Take
antibiotic only when a doctor prescribes. Antibiotics can decrease the
capabilities of the immune system to kill bacteria. Antibiotics are
only needed for treating certain infections caused by bacteria.
Antibiotics do not work on viruses, such as those that cause colds,
flu, bronchitis etc.
