Parenting Without Punishment

Punishing children for their mistakes is not the only option to make them correct. Today we are going to share 7 important points to provide ideal parenting without punishment (like beating physically, shouting, locking in room, etc.).

Become an Ideal Parent
Children learn so many things from their parents, eg: if you are shouting in anger they will also learn the same. Always try to maintain calmness and good behaviour in front of your child.

Make Things Clear
Teach your child about what is wrong and right, you can create a list of good and bad activities with images. It will help in making things clear for your child, and also offer them small rewards for doing good things will make learning fun.

Identify The Problem
Try to identify the reason behind the problem and offer them the best solutions. Eg: Siblings fighting for a toy, 1. You can buy a separate toy for each kid, 2. Punish the toy in front of kids like putting that in a box jail, for being the reason of fighting, 3. You and also allot different time slots to play with the toy, etc.

Correct Yourself
Analyse your acts and ask yourself whether you are not the reason for your child’s misbehaving. If yes then talk with your kid to make things clear and also work on yourself for not doing the same in future.

Watch Your Kids
Always monitor your kids' surroundings like their friend circle, tv shows, internet history, etc. and try to eliminate the wrongs and also discuss with your child what's wrong with that.

In the whole process, you have to offer love and support to your child. On the other hand, you should also maintain your strictness for certain things like your child is continuously doing the same mistake, using wrong wordings etc, But always try to set your strictness as the last option.
